What is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care center?

A PPEC is a licensed day center where children with complex medical needs receive skilled nursing care, therapy, and developmental support — all in one place, during daytime hours.

It's not quite a hospital, and it's not just a daycare. It's built specifically for kids who need more than a typical childcare setting can offer, so they can still play, learn, and be kids.
